ESSWE10 Presentation

I participated in a comparative panel on parapsychology at the 10th biennial conference of the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism (ESSWE) in Vilnius, Lithuania. In my paper, “Rational and National OR Irrational and International”, I analysed the impact of the interwar Czechoslovak occult milieu on the development of socialist parapsychology, as well as its transnational ties and knowledge transfers. Our panel provided a comparative analysis of four Central and Southern European countries: Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and Yugoslavia.
